About Clover

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor practicing in British Columbia, Canada. I was born and raised in Guangzhou, China and have resided in Vancouver, B.C. for more than a decade. As a result of my background, I am fluent in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English, with professional working proficiency in writing and comprehension.

After moving to Vancouver as an international student in 2008, I have received plenty of aid and guidance from numerous good souls. They remain as the inspiration to why I want to give back and assist the people from my community. It is my goal and passion in helping clients to overcome challenges on their path to achieve the desired version of themselves.

I have always been interested in the field of Psychology, Mental Health and Education since my undergrad degree. Upon graduating from Simon Fraser University, I've had the opportunity to work closely in the mental health and social service sector. During my time as a Residential Care Worker and Behavioral Interventionist, I've observed that people in general, regardless of their age, would all want to be listened to and be understood. Once their concerns are noticed and accepted, it opens the gate for positive changes. Thus, I'd decided to pursue a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology to fulfill my wish of helping others in my career.

Aside from being a full-time Clinical Counsellor, I am also proud to have the lifetime career as a mother to my energetic son since 2020. Along with my adorable Shiba Inu, and my loving and supportive husband; my family is the most important part of my life. We like to check out delicious good food around the city, enjoy movie nights with yummy snacks and explore the gorgeous world together.
